Sturgis' Annual Appeal
We are thrilled to share that The William Sturgis Foundation has recently purchased 529 Main Street in Hyannis – a venue midway between our two campuses – to serve as a mixed use facility for Sturgis East and Sturgis West. Your donations to this year's Annual Appeal will upgrade 529 Main Street to provide more opportunities for Sturgis special events, performing arts, IB testing and assemblies. Please note that donors who give $529 or greater will have their names recognized as a 529 sponsor inside of our new venue.
But it's not the amount you give that matters, it’s your action that counts! Our aim is 100% donor participation to demonstrate a collective base of support and enhance our ability to gain further grant funding.
Donations can be made by check to: William Sturgis Friends of Education Foundation, PO Box 2012, Hyannis, MA 02601. Donations can also be made by credit card through the "Donate" button on the right side of this page.

Community Art with Sturgis Charter School
Check out the video created by Sara Mannal of Barnstable Today for a great recap of the community art sailboard project. The sailboard, found discarded on a local beach, was repurposed into artwork by Sturgis art students. “The hand painted/decoupaged underwater scene serves as a whimsical yet thoughtful reminder of the vital importance of our surrounding waters and enhances the “sense of place” one feels while on Cape Cod,” said Ben Hughes, Creative Economy Projects Manager for Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce.
